Spider Flower

I took a lot of photos of the cleome
 when I was at the college garden.
 It is such an odd looking flower,
 but this is the first I have actually looked
 at the shapes of the actual florets,
 and the way they open.

What an interesting and wonderful flower! I love how you caught the sequence of these flowers bursting open - I've never seen anything like this!
