One of the redwings finally sat still long enough for me to take his photo.
Their calls are one of the signs of spring, living this near the marsh.

You are so lucky to have gotten pictures of this beautiful bird! They are making a comeback in our area after being gone for years and years. I have yet to have one sit still long enough to photograph!
I see them here too, down by the creek. Sitting on a tall weed just like in your photos. They make an annoying caw sound but they also have a pretty trilling call I like to here.
