Another log in the forest shows how trees have grown together. And I have no idea why the chainsaw made this fancy cut.
Sometimes the bark remains, and sometimes it doesn't. That answers a question I have been wondering about for several years.

Your photos of Siamese trees, both outside and inside, are very interesting. I don't recall seeing many of those trees at all, but I know I haven't seen the inside. Thanks for the education.
